Journey Details

The journey by Palace on Wheels starts from Delhi. Before boarding the train, you can tour the various tourist attractions of this historical city. The tour will commence from Safdarjung in New Delhi. Till the time you reach your next destination, you will be served with a sumptuous dinner. You can also enjoy a drink at the bar in the train.

On the second day, you will be reaching Jaipur. During the tour of this historical city, tourists can visit tourist spots like Hawa Mahal Palace, Jantar Mantar, Amber Fort and other places. Shopping in Jaipur is also a great experience.

The third day of the journey reaches at Sawai Madhopur. One of the main attractions of this place is the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Tourists are also taken to the Ranthambore Fort to provide an insight of the Rajasthan's rich history.

Come day three and the train will reach Chittorgarh. Visiting the Chittorgarh Fort is the main highlight of the day. Tourists are also taken for a visit to Rana Kumbha Palace and Padmini Palace on this day.

The fourth day will take you to Udaipur. The visit will be a great experience as the city has a number of forts and palaces that has historical significance.

On the fifth day, the train will reach Jaisalmer, another historical city of Rajasthan. This city also has a number of historical tourist spots.

The train is scheduled to reach Jodhpur on the sixth day of the journey. Attractions to be covered on this day include Umaid Bhawan Palace and Mehrangarh Fort.

The seventh day of the journey is packed as you will be taken to Bharatpur and Agra. On this day, you will be visiting tourist attractions like Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Bharatpur and Taj Mahal in Agra. Moreover, the affordable rates of these tours make it viable for tourists of all types.
